Welcome to Ham Radio

Amateur radio is a great hobby, and taking your first steps with a UK Foundation Licence will give you a grounding in electronics as well as the ‘dark arts’ of radio frequency technology.

This website aims to give you an understanding of the basics, and tell you where you can get more information on your journey. We’ve also put together some reasonably price suggestions for the equipment that will get you started once you have achieved your licence
